The Pillar of Hope: One Woman's Divine Calling

What a profound privilege it was for The She Global to join the incredible women of the Church of Christ Ministry in Walanga and Chwele. In the heart of Western Kenya, we witnessed a divine gathering, a powerful outpouring of grace that left every attendee refreshed, empowered, and ignited with hope.

Against the beautiful backdrop of our theme, "Encouraging Women to Be a Beacon of Hope and Faith in Challenging Times" (Ruth 3:11), a singular, powerful message emerged from the diversity of topics: Your identity in Christ is the foundation from which you build a legacy of hope and strength for your family and community.

The world often defines a woman by fragmented roles, a homemaker, a professional, a mother. But God’s Word reveals a complete picture: you are a strong vessel, a life-giver, and a purpose-fulfiller. This seminar was a call to step into that wholeness, to seek God so you can know who you are, ensuring the enemy cannot take advantage through ignorance.

The eleven topics, taught by various anointed ministers, were not separate lessons but interconnected threads in a beautiful tapestry. Together, they form one core message:

As a beacon of hope, your calling begins within your own spirit, understanding your worth is found not in the world’s beauty standards (1 Peter 3:3-4) but in God’s eyes (1 Sam. 16:7). From this place of security, you are equipped to be the heart of your home, a vital leader alongside your husband (Eph. 5), building a united family (Ps. 133:1) through effective communication and biblical conflict resolution.

This leadership extends to every domain. You are a wise steward, managing family finances (Luke 16:10-11) and contributing to its economic growth and empowerment through the industrious spirit of Proverbs 31. You are a protector, safeguarding your family’s heart online and offline, and a minister, discipling your children (Prov. 22:6) to cultivate a godly heritage.

And when challenges like depression loom (Ps. 34:18), your grounded identity in Christ becomes your anchor, enabling you to overcome and be that beacon of hope for others who are struggling.

This is the holistic vision we explored, a woman who is spiritually rooted, emotionally resilient, financially wise, and familially strong. You are not just playing a role; you are fulfilling a divine purpose.

To the amazing women of Walanga and Chwele, your hunger for God’s Word and your resilient spirits have left a permanent mark on our hearts. You are living proof of this message. This was not an end, but a glorious beginning. We continue to pray that the seeds planted will grow mightily, transforming families, communities, and nations for God’s glory.
